“Once in every life, someone comes along….”
Buffy was bred and brought into this world by the best of breeders, so it’s no wonder that she was the best of the best of every dog I’ve EVER known.
Miss Buffy was an absolutely beautiful white dog with a unconditional heart of gold. Buffy grew up to be most loving, courageous, protective and affectionate dog. Her love and affection poured out constantly every day and every night.
As a young pup, she was 100% playfully funny and full of herself! Buffy enjoyed it when I told her, “You are so fresh.” She always got that special little mischievous gleam in her eyes, as if to say, “You ain’t seen nothing yet.”
Buffy started every day off on the right paw. She was my “star,” best friend, companion, protection, and love.
First thing in the morning, she always joyfully leaped up on my bed and gave me the biggest bear hug ever. We would cuddle up and welcome each new day with a joy that she had within her spirit. Whenever I played the keyboards she’d howl and sing along in perfect key. Whenever I was on the computer she was there and just wanted me to hold her paw, regardless of how many hours that was.
Buffy’s favorite toy was an empty water gallon bottle. She tossed them around and enjoyed the noise like a child with a drum set. With countless hours of play with my three other dogs here, this house became a home with her.
Home is where the heart is, and sadly, due to the horrific mistakes of a vet I stupidly trusted, she’s gone. Sadly, Buffy’s life was literally cut short by a vet….
“I keep talking to your picture, but a smile is all you say, it’s a lonely conversation, but missing you seems easier this way…”
Buffy was the greatest love I’ve ever known. To know her, was to love her. Yes, our “Double Ring GlamOur Girl, ” Buffy,” turned out to be an absolutely perfect little “Leading Lady!”
This is written from the heart in reflection of a life that was lived and in memory of Buffy, with all respect due to her.
Buffy was full of love. No one will EVER replace The Buffy Dog. She is/was the best of the best.
Buffy, If you’re reading this…. I’m so sorry. You didn’t deserve what happened to you. When you left, my heart left with you. Love NEVER dies.
Buffy you were my sunshine, and no one can ever, or will ever, take your place.
