About Jack
The movie, Field of Dreams, has a character called “Shoeless Joe Jackson.” My original intent was to call him Jackson, but then Michael Jackson died and I rethought that idea. We decided to shorten it and call him “Jack.”
Jack’s breeder is Barb Tatay. I flew up to Michigan to evaluate the litter and fell in love with Red Boy. I asked Barb if she had a show home for him. She did not. I jokingly said that he could come to my house if she didn’t find one. A week or so later she called to tell me that her husband was driving through my area and was dropping off Red Boy. Chuck was gone and had a surprise when he got home!
Jack is still very much a youngster, but he fits into our household like he was born here. We are really going to enjoy showing him!
