Showy and shapely, Sassy's
name befits her spunky temperament!
SASSY by
her owner, Sherry
Cline
Sassy and I are becoming
an inseparable pair. She would much rather
spend her time waiting in the car for me
than wait for me in her crate. She's so
good in the car that I do take her a lot.
But, today I was going to a luncheon and I
was wearing black and I really didn't want
white hair all over my clothes. So, I left
her and gave her the run of the house. I
don't think she left the rug in front of the
door to the garage the whole time I was
gone. This was the first time I didn't crate
her and she was very good!
She's really doing well
in obedience class too. She's one of the
few dogs that goes down on command and stays
there. She responds really well to me.
She's learning to be more trusting of others
like when she has to sit for exam. I've been
taking her to different parks and pet stores
to introduce her to different settings and
people.
Remember when I told you
she couldn't jump up on the bed because I
thought it was too high for her? Well,
Sassy had me fooled. She is an early riser,
and she comes over to my side of the bed and
starts snuffling and trying to get me up out
of bed. Sometimes I pet her and then get up
shortly thereafter. But, one morning it was
before 7 AM and I was reading until almost 1
AM, so I really wasn't ready to get up. She
came snuggling and I ignored her. She
wouldn't have any of that. She just popped
up on the bed and snuggled right in next to
me!
I'm really enjoying her!
She's really a neat dog! I can't thank you
enough for her. My life is now
complete with my dog. I've been taking lots
of pictures so look for an album to arrive
in the mail soon.
