Happy Dilly

Ch Double Ring Dilly Dahli - sister to Mak.

Dilly was never the typiest dog, but she was sure one of the cutest. She was always too darned happy in the ring.

One of the cunumdrums for breeders is tail carriage. Judges want to see happy happy dogs, but also want the tails carried down. Unfortunately, the happier the Kuvasz, the higher the tail goes. Dilly often lost simply due to her tail carriage.

At a show weekend, where we had majors, we asked a friend to show Dilly while my husband and I each showed another dog.

Dilly was happy to go with someone else, BUT not quite as happy as if she had gone with us. Thus the tail carriage was down!

Dilly finished her championship easily after that, we just made sure we passed her off to someone else so she was just not too happy!
