Double Ring Kuvasz is the home of FIVE GENERATIONS of top winning champions!
We only produce a
few
select Kuvasz litters per year, always stressing fine quality and health, not quantity.
We research all pedigrees to the fullest extent possible, and breed only certified, tested parents that
are worthy breeding candidates.
Our breeding dogs and bitches must
not only be free of congenital defects and other genetic weakness, but also likely to contribute lasting qualities of excellence to the Kuvasz breed, and
the breed's future heritage.
We are avid supporters of the OFA
(Orthopedic Foundation of
Animals) and CHIC (Canine Health Information Center), an open database for Kuvasz testing results. The more Kuvasz tested and entered into the database, the better our breeding choices for the future can be.
Currently, the KCA (Kuvasz Club of America) requires the Kuvasz to be
officially health tested for hips, elbows and thyroid to receive a CHIC number.
(Dogs born prior to the year 2000 are exempt from this requirement.) We adhere
to these requirements and encourage others to do so too.
We work hard to be sure that the puppy you receive is exposed to all manner of household noises, car travels, and lots of handling by both adults and children BEFORE he leaves our home to go to your home.

Healthy, robust puppies for life-long vigor and good health.
Outstanding Kuvasz type and conformation.
Gentle, but still breed-correct, Kuvasz temperaments.
Thoroughly loved and carefully socialized puppies that are hand-raised in our home (not a kennel or cage).
